Since 2019, the DentaMed mobile dental clinic has seen between 2,000 and 3,000 children for more advanced cases.
Led by managing partner Dr. Christopher Okunseri, professor and predoctoral program director of dental public health at Marquette's School of Dentistry, the clinic makes visits to several schools in Milwaukee to treat underserved children. Okunseri and Dr. Francesca Malensek, Dent '24, were spotlighted by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for their work in the community. [subscription required to read the story below]

Before graduating, our outgoing 2026 class president, Dr. Jermaine Walls, was spotlighted by WISN's Gerron Jordan!
We'll miss Jermaine's presence and leadership in the school, but he's off to do great things!
