St. Roman Parish School celebrated Las Posadas today, a beautiful cultural and faith-filled tradition that helps our students prepare their hearts for Christmas.

Students participated in three meaningful activities:
*Las Posadas re-enactment, remembering Mary and Joseph’s journey as they sought shelter
*A festive craft and snack, celebrating community and tradition
*An interactive dance performance by Aztec dancers from St. Adalbert School, our sister school, honoring cultural heritage through music and movement. A heartfelt thank you to the Aztec dancers from St. Adalbert for sharing their beautiful, interactive performance with our students. We are grateful for your time and talent!

A celebration that beautifully united faith, culture, and community.

Third Grade Spreading Christmas Joy!

Our third grade students had a wonderful visit to Wilson Commons Senior Living, where they spent time with the residents and participated in a variety of fun activities. The highlight of the visit was when our students shared the joy of the season by performing Christmas songs for the seniors, bringing many smiles and holiday cheer.

A special thank you to Mr. Flores, who joined us and helped guide the students during the musical performance. This experience was a beautiful example of service, community, and sharing God’s love with others during the Christmas season.

We are so proud of our third graders for representing St. Roman with kindness and joy!

On Monday we commemorated the third week of Advent by lighting the third candle of our school Advent wreath. The rose candle remind us to “rejoice”—for the Lord is near! This week, as we continue to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ, let us reflect on the hope, peace, and joy that come from trusting in God’s promises. Rejoice always in the Lord! (Philippians 4:4)

Our little guests listened to a story, got creative with a fun craft, and enjoyed a cozy morning on campus—it was such a joy welcoming prospective K4 families and seeing so many smiles.

Our St. Roman students celebrated Our Lady of Guadalupe with a beautiful and faith-filled celebration that reflected the heart of our school community. We were blessed to welcome Aztec dancers, enjoy thoughtful student presentations, and witness our children offering flowers to the Virgin Mary as a sign of love and devotion.

Following the celebration, we gathered with parents and families who wished to stay and share time together. Thanks to the generosity of our parents and our Family Engagement Program, families enjoyed a variety of donated treats in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Thank you to all the parents and families who joined us and helped make this celebration so special. Your presence and support mean so much to our St. Roman community.
