Early Dismissal Announcement📢

We understand the high levels of heat and humidity this week. We are working hard to ensure a safe and comfortable learning environment at STM. Various parts of the building at STM have air conditioning, and we are opening those spaces to teachers and students who need a cooler area in the event their own classroom is too warm.

🕑We have also decided to cancel Enrichment today and allow for an early dismissal. Students will be dismissed and are free to go home at 2:15pm. If a student cannot get a ride or needs to take a bus, he or she will be allowed to go to the gym until 3:00pm to do work and cool off.

🚌Busses will leave at 3:15pm as scheduled

🍎We are also cancelling MORE Enrichment today

⚠️Please note that all other after school activities, practices, and events are still ON. As mentioned above, our gym is air conditioned and remains cool for practice.

Robert E. “Bob” Burke is of Counsel at Barnes, Richardson & Colburn, LLP and a nationally respected international trade attorney with more than 50 years of experience in customs and trade law, litigation, compliance, and global commerce. A graduate of Blessed Sacrament, Don Bosco High School, and Marquette University, Burke became a licensed attorney at age 23 and was the youngest member of his Marquette Law class.

This Mass was especially meaningful as we honored the memory of Jim Mueller, long-time STM employee who passed away recently. We were grateful to welcome Jim’s family to celebrate his life and legacy together💙

Can you keep Homer alive? 👀🧪

Mrs. Greenberg's Honors Biology students tackled the Homer-ostasis Inquiry Lab investigating feedback mechanisms to help maintain homeostasis. Students had to keep Homer within his set points of 25°C🌡️, fluid level to his eyebrows, and sugar/electrolyte concentration (color).

The environment is constantly changing as students collect data, make decisions, and adjust their strategies📊
