Hello Facebook! 🤩 long time no see! Mothership has not made an official post on here since 2019.

➡️ Here’s a Quick Recap: As we all know, covid changed many things. Mothership being one of them. It took a while to bounce back, but we did it! Mothership was resurrected this past August 2023 by our current President, Kevin King. Currently in office serving along him are Vice-President Katrina Senebouttarath, Secretary Blake Millard, and Treasurer Delano Kraig. As a team, we wrote a new constitution, became an IGDA student organization, and paved the path for the year!

➡️ Cool Stuff We’ve Done: Our President set some big goals for Mothership! We are happy to report that we got to accomplish them this year. In September, we hosted our first Mothership Game Jam. From there, we hosted a Dev Talk from a Roblox Developer, attending Cream City Convergence, sponsored M+Dev and took 20 students (!!!), raised $1,500 for Extra Life, hosted Demo Day for the first time in years, had an Alumni Dev talk (thank you Nick and Eldon!), attended the E-Sports summit, and most recently WENT TO GDC! The current officers have already chosen their successors - they are ready to have take Mothership on! 😎

l will be running a Pokemon Team Up pre-release tournament for gameclub next week. $25 entry fee. You get 4 packs plus 2 evolution chains all in a sealed pre-release box. You build your deck from there. I will give additional packs for prizes. 1st place 5packs, 2nd 3packs and 1 for 3rd. If you want in post here asap!
