Calling all helping hands!

Join us Saturday, May 16 from 2:30–6:00 PM to help clean up and beautify our green playground! We’ll be weeding, reseeding, picking up trash, and tackling a few bigger projects like clearing tree stakes and sprucing up the bioswales.

🧤 Bring gloves, tools, and pruners if you have them
🚛 A truck for hauling would be a HUGE help
🍕 We’ll have drinks and pizza to celebrate our hard work!

Just a few more days to grab your bags of compost! Gardening season is almost here!

Your plants are calling for compost, and you can support MGIS at the same time! For every bag purchased, Compost Crusader will donate $4 toward our school’s compost program next year.

Since launching our lunch composting program just two years ago, MGIS has already diverted an incredible 16,413 lbs. of waste from landfills (as of April 10)!
