Yesterday our entire school community gathered at Saint Vincent Pallotti for a special all-school Mass and the installation of Tom Mlada as the fourth President of Pius XI Catholic High School.
We were honored to welcome Archbishop Jeffrey Grob as our celebrant, joined by Fr. Phillip Bogacki ’99, Fr. John Baumgardner ’08, Fr. Jerry Herda, Fr. Mike Ignaszak ’76, and Fr. Joseph Heit. Together with our students, faculty, staff, and members of our greater community, we gathered for the Mass of the Holy Spirit, giving thanks for our Pius XI community and praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance, wisdom, and blessings throughout the year ahead.
The installation of a new president is an important moment in the life of a Catholic school—a moment that we marked with symbols representing Pius XI's rich history and tradition, as well as its vibrant future. Today was both a celebration of new leadership and a powerful reminder of the mission that unites us: forming young people in faith, knowledge, character, and service to others.
As Tom Mlada begins his service as President, we pray that God grants him wisdom, courage, and grace as he leads our school community into its next chapter.
Please join us in congratulating President Tom Mlada and praying for him, our students, and our entire school community.
May God continue to bless our school and the mission we share.
