So many hands...so many spirits... touched that mural...became the fabric of the University through it's magnetism.....A project begun in 2016/2017 by the Art Committee, I was proud to finally see it finished in the Summer of 23....

After 741 weeks (5,187 days) of working at Marquette University and 635 weeks (4,435 days) overseeing the lauded Marquette University Urban Scholars Program...... today, 8/21/23 was my last day. 😢

“What happened?”: It is my time to go. I was not fired. I was not laid off. I was not pushed out. I have a career that included this phenomenal blessing. I am grateful.

“Where are you going…what’s next?”: I have a few irons in the fire and will decide sooner than later. I am 100% staying in Milwaukee.

“My Name Is DJ Todd….and I AM AN URBAN SCHOLAR!”
