Study abroad with Megan 🇮🇹
Megan recently studied abroad in Rome and shares a bit about her experience!

“I had the opportunity to spend a semester in Rome, Italy !! I knew that the experience of studying abroad would change me in some way, but I truly did not realize how life altering it would be on my perspective of life. The experiences I had abroad, the people I got to meet, the culture I got to experience, and everything that had happened in between, I have learned what it means to be truly grateful and live in the moment. Although I adore my time at Marquette, I can say studying abroad has taught me amazing things that I don’t think I could learn sitting in a classroom. I feel so incredibly blessed and grateful to have had the opportunity study abroad and it’s something I will carry with me forever. Almost every night I end up going through my pictures abroad, and I admire how fortunate I am to experience something so wonderful. I loved studying abroad so much and I seriously would do just about anything to do it all over again. It is my hope that I can inspire more people to study abroad and share similar experiences with me. 😽”

WHY ALPHA CHI WEEK

To end Why Alpha Chi Week, Julia shared some beautiful words on her experience with AXO and stated “When I was going through recruitment, I kept coming back to one word to describe Alpha Chi, “home.” Every day since, it has continued to feel like home. The girls are some of the nicest people, and most of my best friends from college have come from AXO. Many of these girls I would have never met otherwise, but because of Alpha Chi, I get to call them my friends, love them every day, and feel loved by them always.”

Allison Hawley tells us her Why Alpha Chi story and says “I chose axo because during recruitment I felt such an amazing energy throughout the room and could feel the love the girls have for each other. Everyday since being in axo I am so grateful to be surrounded by women who are supportive, loving, kind, and make AXO such a special place.”
