We’re proud to help young readers in bilingual learning communities build strong foundations in reading—an initiative that wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated partners, including the team at Forest Home Avenue School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Over the past decade, our partnership has consistently delivered on the high-impact promise of Reading Corps, supporting nearly 400 students to date!
"Forest Home Avenue School has demonstrated what's possible through strong partnerships and high-quality interventions, with 72.7% of students exceeding their reading goals and 97.7% showing improvement," reports Reading Corps Coaching Specialist Marisol Adame. Outcomes like this could not be achieved without the hard work of our tutors and the team of administrators who have provided such consistent support over the years.
Thank you, Forest Home Avenue School, for your continued partnership and commitment to ensuring all students are strong readers!

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a dedicated time to recognize and celebrate the neurodiverse community. This includes individuals with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Tourette’s syndrome, and other neurological differences. The week aims to raise awareness about neurodiversity, promoting understanding and acceptance while challenging stereotypes and misconceptions.
Forest Home students will be celebrating by having adaptive specials that include activities that are accessible to ALL students. Students will have accessible activities in their library, art, music, and gym classes.
Our celebrations are being funded by our friends at 7 Mile Fair!
