Many hands make light work! We finished up our bird this week at Sojourner Family Peace Center. These kids love to grout!

So… I did a thing. I shared about my artistic process on a stage and a lot of of people were there. Those Madison peeps turn out for the arts apparently. It was out of my comfort zone, and our car broke down on the way, but an old friend really came through for me and I made it on time, and then someone bought two pieces before the artist talks were even done. AND I got to chat with a lot of really cool and interesting people. then, I had a delicious dinner at a really great place. all in all, a pretty exciting adventure.

Here’s some better pics of my work currently at Art Bar- twas a little crazy at the opening to get good shots. The show “ Broken Inspiration” will be up for another week. Also, some of my favs from John Kowalczyk and LeAnn Wooten. 🙂

Summer fun working with teen interns on a couple butterfly planters for Metcalfe Park...

I made this Peace Pole as a gift for my parents earlier this summer. It was a super fun project and it has since been installed (with the help of my sisters) in my parents’ garden in South Carolina.
