๐พโก๏ธ๐ฌ From NCAA Division I tennis student-athlete to sport science professional, recent UWM graduate Iva Stejskalova has built an impressive path both on and off the court.
Originally from the Czech Republic, Iva came to UWM in 2020 to join the women's tennis team and study kinesiology. After graduating with honors and earning multiple academic and athletic awards, she continued her education at the UWM Joseph J. Zilber College of Public Health, earning a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning.
During her graduate studies, Iva discovered a passion for sport science and found the career path she had been searching for.
"I feel like sport science is exactly what I wanted to do before I even knew it existed," she said.
Congratulations, Iva! We're proud of all you've accomplished and excited to see what comes next. ๐พ๐๐ค
