Milwaukee Childcare Center of the Arts exists to provide a safe, loving, trauma-informed, and creative learning environment where children ages 4 weeks to 4 years can grow, explore, and thrive through the arts. Are you passionate about working with children and fostering their growth? We're excited to announce that we're hiring qualified candidates for our new location! Our childcare program is dedicated to building healthy relationships between staff, families, and children, with a focus on learning through play and the arts. As a trauma-informed center, we support parents and caregivers of children with various needs, including behavioral challenges, autism, and more.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or College Degree in Early Childhood Education
Required Childcare Classes: Introduction to Childcare, Skills and Strategies, CPR, Abusive Head Trauma, Infant Toddler
Health Requirements: Current Physical and TB Skin Test

What is Hey Gworl?

Hey Gworl is a legal nonprofit organization focused on supporting various aspects of the community.

We specialize in aiding children, young adults, and adult women who are in or have aged out of foster care, as well as those living in nonbiological homes.

This year, we're launching our young adult and adult sector, expanding our support to girls and women who have experienced trauma or overwhelming challenges.

We provide a range of services including hair services for young girls and teens, one-on-one mentorship, and referrals to therapists, psychologists, life coaches, job employment and skill services, and housing assistance.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between trauma and healing, showing that with the right support, healing is possible.
