September is National Student Parent Month! 💛🎓🧸

Did you know that more than 1 in 5 undergraduate students are student parents? At UWM, more than 1,300 student parents are balancing college while caring for more than 1,700 children.

Student parents are an important part of our campus community and they’re doing the incredible work of pursuing their education while raising the next generation.

This month, we’re celebrating UWM’s student parents, recognizing their experiences, and highlighting the resources and community available to support them.

Here’s to all the student parents making it happen! 🫶
