Here's the deal: show up (or order to-go), eat like it's your job, flash this flyer, and Texas Roadhouse hands over 10% of your bill to Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, and just like that your night off just became a good deed.

Hi everyone! Please join ILP at Texas Roadhouse this Wednesday from 3:30 - 10 PM. ILP will receive 10% of the food purchases to our school. Remember, with the cuts taking place this Fall, our school needs funds to stay operating. Happy Anniversary!! 🎉❤️

Some of our longtime ILP students and families may recognize this very special face!
Before joining the Early Childhood team at Neighborhood House's main site, Miss. Bao was part of the ILP family! Caring for and teaching our students' little ones while their parents were in class learning English, preparing for citizenship, and building their lives here in Milwaukee.

She made it possible for so many parents to focus on their own learning knowing their children were right next door being cared for and loved. 🥰🏘️

We're so happy she's still part of the Neighborhood House family!

And as we celebrate 50 years of ILP this year, stories like this are such a good reminder that this program has always been about more than a classroom. It's about removing barriers and making sure families have what they need to keep moving forward.

This month we're celebrating a very special milestone! Miss Bao Her has been part of the Neighborhood House family for 21 years!

Since 2005, Miss Bao has poured her heart into our Early Childhood classrooms, shaping the earliest, most important years of learning for generations of NH kids. Her patience, warmth, and dedication have left a lasting mark on countless children and families in our community.

🇺🇸 WE HAVE A NEW U.S. CITIZEN!!! 🇺🇸

Today was a VERY exciting day for ILP!🎉

Our student Myo Win, originally from Burma, officially completed his Oath of Allegiance and became a United States citizen!! 🇺🇸❤️

Citizenship is a journey. It takes years of paperwork, studying, practicing English, learning U.S. history and government, interviews, and a whole lot of determination.

Getting to stand there today and watch Myo reach the finish line was pretty special. 🥹Being there to support him along the way was even more incredible.

After the ceremony, we did what any good ILP family does to celebrate a huge accomplishment... we went out to eat! 😂

Myo, we are SO incredibly proud of you.

Congratulations, Citizen Myo Win!! 🇺🇸🎉🎓
