Art submissions due October 3: Connections Annual Alumnae Juried Art Show opens October 7, 2022. All artwork must be dropped off on October 2 or October 3. Alverno alum artists are invited to fill out an entry form to participate. To download the entry form, visit alumnae.alverno.edu/artshow22.

2022 Connections Annual Alumnae Juried Art Show
Exhibition Information
Alverno College's Art and Cultures Gallery will host an in-person event and exhibit and opening reception featuring artwork by Alverno alums. In addition, Alumnae Featured Artist Felonee Webster will offer a workshop on the exhibition's opening night, where participants will create a collaborative artwork that will become part of Alverno's permanent collection and be displayed at a later date.
Exhibition Dates: October 7 – October 21, 2022
The gallery is open to the public Monday through Saturday,
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The gallery is located in Alexia Hall.

How Alverno Alums Can Participate

The Alverno Art & Cultures Gallery will close at 4 pm tomorrow, Thursday, October 28th, instead of 7 pm.

The gallery will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am-4pm this week and will resume regular hours next week.

Alverno Instructor and Amazing Artist, Dara Larson, has her artwork in a Handmade Paper Art Exhibit, "Paper on the River", at the Paper Discovery Center in Appleton, WI.
Great chance to see exquisite works of arts made out of paper by over 40 artists all over the United States, as well as all of the fall colors during your drive.
Exhibit Oct. 1-30, 2021.
Opening Reception tonight, Oct. 1st 5:30-7:30pm.

Alverno Alumnae, only a little over 24 hours left to submit your 2 images for the Annual Connections Alumnae Art Virtual Show. The exhibit is completely virtual this year - no need to get artwork framed, no hassle of drop off, and no size limitations. Just take a picture of your work (image taken with your cell phone is fine), any medium (2D, 3D, digital) anything you have been working on, and upload it to alumnae.alverno.edu/fallfest21
All submissions due by Wednesday, September 22 at 5pm via online form.

ALL GRADUATE YEARS OF ANY MAJOR ARE WELCOME TO SUBMIT!

The annual showcase of talented alum will be available for viewing virtually Friday, October 8 - Saturday, October 30.

Zoom Meeting - Link will be shared with participants prior to the event. Enjoy a “walk” through the exhibition, followed by an opportunity to toast the 2021 juried award recipients.
