I posted some hints for the Unit 6 Test on Stoich on Google Classroom. If you dont have AP Chem google classroom yet, code is 1srfpkx.
To create a 2nd (only) account on flinn prep the activation code is 4rtxh. Here are some hints for unit 6 test.
Log on there to see the pictures of the questions.
So for #1 percent composition add up molar masses of each element and divide by the molar mass of each element. So for mine the molar mass of Na2CO3 is 106 and 46 of the us from the 2 sodiums (2x23). So the percent from sodium is 46/106 or 43.4 percent.
For #2 remember oxygen is diatomic so it is 32.00 grams per mole, remember bottom number on periodic table is the mass number.
For #3 find molar mass of oxygen and ethane. Based on given moles, which one will run our first? That's limiting reagent. You need to take in account the mole ratio.
For #4 you need to pretend you have 100 grams of the compound, so then just divide the percent by molar mass of each element.
For #5 multiple in that 3 so essentially that compound can be written AlN3O9. Then take bottom number in periodic table and find molar mass of entire compound.
For #6 remember a mole is 6.02x10^23 and then take in mole ratio as 3 moles of coppper form with every 2 miles of aluminum chloride.
For #7, what is it? It's not an atom. A formula unit? No...it not a unit. It's not an ion (a charged particle).
For #8 it is the same thing.

AP Chemistry, Remember you have been assigned the 15 Flinn Prep review tests over spring break.
I am checking to see if you are doing your work. I created a link for you to see who is doing their work. If you see someone on here who isn't please let them know all 15 units are due on Sunday April 16 11:59.

AP Chemistry Flinn Unit Tests Sheet1 X= Taken at least once, Note: If student has attempted 3 times, test is marked blue and can' t be taken again Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3, Unit 4, Unit 5, Unit 6, Unit 7, Unit 8, Unit 9, Unit 10, Unit 11, Unit 12, Unit 13, Unit 14, Unit 15 Davis, Nikerra L Duffy, Daevion K, X Eliopoulos, ...
Check google classroom for this weeks schedule. I put it on both the AP and General Chem Page.
AP Chem, remember we have a daily online assessment from the Flinn AP Chemistry review. One month left but you will have to study every night for a month.

Here are answer keys to Chapter 12 test on Kinetics and Chapter 13 test on Equilibrium. I get this isn't easy but few things are. Need a retake? Come during the day or Wednesday after school.

All three days of lecture on Equilibrium. Test tomorrow and Monday. Study up. Almost done.

Here is a finished chapter 12 Kinetics Test. Note for #1, since it was a 2nd order reaction, I would have had to tell you the molarity or the initial concentration. Since I didn't, I assumed it to be 1M.

Chapter 9 test on Orbital Geometry was hard but some AP Chemistry students raised to the challenge; Jasmine, Alexandra, Quincy, Kai, Jabaris, Kenny, Valencia, Angela, and Syboni all got an A.
The test on Kinetics on Wed and Thurs will be a little harder. If you haven't been studying, a good way to start is here;

AP Chemistry Chapter 8 General Bonding Test Review Bonds are attractive forces that hold groups of atoms together and make them function as a unit. [Defined in 25 words or less, but leaves out LOTS of details...
Long day grading; final grades will be in soon. These are people who got an A on their FINAL EXAM.
Gen Chem: Brittney S, Mateya G, Aja, Arkasia H, Jaya O, Raven S.
