CNA Training Program Lutheran Home (Wauwatosa, WI)
We Want You to Become a CNA!
Lutheran Home is currently seeking interested individuals to participate in our upcoming CNA Training Program! We are a premier Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Wauwatosa offering long-term care and rehab services.
The ReadyCNA training course at Lutheran Home will consist of an online and an in-person clinical. Participants will complete 3-weeks of self-guided studies online starting with an in-person introduction to the course on Friday, October 13 @ 8:00 AM. The in-person clinical experience will start Monday, November 6 and run the entire week from 11/6 - 11/10. Hours for the in-person clinical at 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Interested participants should:
Have a genuine interest in working as a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) at the Lutheran Home & Harwood Place following completion of the course.
Be patient and compassionate as we support the aging population.
Requirements for participation:
Participants will need the ability to complete the course work online over the first 3 weeks of the class.
Be able to commit to participating in-person from Monday, November 6 - Friday, November 10 from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
Cover up-front cost for the class of $475 due Monday, October 9 (reimbursement details below!)
Cover up-front cost for the test of $125 due after completion of class when signing up for the test (reimbursement details below!)
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
Apply no later than Friday, September 29. Please submit an updated resume to this post. A cover letter describing your interest in the course is encouraged, but not required.
Reimbursement for both the class and test cost will be provided to participants who complete the course, pass the test and are hired on at the Lutheran Home and Harwood Place. Reimbursement will be paid following successful completion of 90-days of employment.
Lutheran Home is also offering retention bonuses to hired participants that commit to full-time or part-time schedules! Participants that are hired and commit to a full-time schedule (30+ hours per week) will receive $500 bonuses after completion of 6 months and 1-year of employment! Part-time (18.75+ hours per week) will be eligible for bonuses of $250! Employees must not drop hours after starting to remain eligible for retention bonuses.
CNA Shifts:
AM Shift: 6:15 AM - 2:15 PM
PM Shift: 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM
NOC Shift: 10:15 PM - 6:15 AM
