Huge Congratulations to James Place volunteer Kris Grisa! She has been chosen by MPS to receive a Most Valuable Volunteer Award! Kris has served humbly and faithfully at our center for many years. She continues mentoring many students even after they graduate. We love you Kris! Thank you for using the gifts God gave you to so faithfully serve Him!

E'dan Carson- A HUGE, KIND heart, dreamed of being an NFL player and sports announcer. Overcame a debilitating speech problem to be an inspiration to others. Most of all he LOVED to talk and spent many, many hours in James Place. This loss hurts deeply. "I just want to tell you one more thing." he always said to us. Oh, to hear him tell us one more story. We are praying for your precious family E'dan and thank God for the opportunity to have known you. You blessed us in so many ways.

The Black History Program at WHS was AMAZING! The vocal talent, the dancing, the creativity, emotion and expression captured all of our hearts and made us so very proud to be Purgolders!

We have such wonderful volunteers! They love our WHS kids and learn so much from them.

We loved decorating a tree in Community Park with our WHS kids! Very chilly day but we all had fun! Great time! Great kids! Go Purgolders!

BIG JP shout-out to the amazing teachers at Washington High School! They work hard, do a lot of of unnoticed things to help out kids in all sorts of ways, and love their students so very well!
