UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts' Band Program is home to five different wind band performing ensembles
Throughout its history, the musicians in the band program have had the privilege of working with leading conductors, composers, and instrumentalist in the field. In addition to recordings, tours, and outreach activities, the UWM Bands have sponsored and participated in numerous commissioning projects over the years. National and regional conference appearances have brought tremendous recognition to the music department as well as the gifted musicians who comprise the wind-band program.

Come join the UWM Wind Ensemble for our final concert of the academic year on Friday, April 24th at 7:30PM! We will be performing Mosaics by Timothy Kramer, Symphony No. 3 “Slavyanskaya” by Boris Kozhevnikov, Yorkshire Ballad by James Barnes, and Gloriosa: Symphonic Poem for Band by Yasuhide Ito! This program will also feature our Wind Ensemble Concerto Competition Winner, Gabe Coutinho performing Derek Bourgeois’ Concerto for Trombone and Concert Band! See you all at Bader Hall!”
