It's not all hard work for our medical students - they also get to have fun too! Here is one of our fantastic Pediatricians and one of our 3rd year Des Moines University students having fun on Halloween! We wonder what our pediatric patients thought of the barnyard fun?!

We all are living in such uncertain times. What is certain: your decision to pursue a career in medicine was a good one. Learning to be a good clinician and a good friend, neighbor, citizen can be stressful. With the first weekend of Summerfest upon us I wanted to remind you to have some fun too. Do your best to have an outlet from the hard work and chaos along the way. After all, the primary barrier to everything is time. But having fun takes no more time than complaining. ENJOY!
