Thanks to Mr. Ramie (electric guitar), Ms Alicia (piano), Mr. Boppi (acoustic guitar), Mr. Robbie (bass guitar) and our own Ms. Stephanie (percussion) for displaying their musical talents this week! Music is a natural part of life for young children. From dancing to singing to turning everyday objects into musical instruments, children love to engage in musical activities. And like all the best learning experiences in early childhood, exposure to music simultaneously promotes development across multiple domains. Our young musicians even got to jam in their own band—Rock on!

What an amazing adventure we had during our Fire Safety Week, where we explored fun books and transformed into brave firefighters! We embarked on a journey to our neighborhood fire station, discovering the secrets of stop-drop-and-roll and learning to recognize the heroes behind the gear. Taking turns sitting in the magnificent red engine truck was such a delight, and some of us even got to experience the thrill of spraying the hose! We also received hats, coloring books, and stickers, making it an unforgettable experience. Our trip to the fire station was an awesome experience!

🍕 Classic Slice Pizza is the BEST ever! 🍕
On our field trip we learned the secret to making the perfect pizza—THANKS to owner Mr. Jason! He guided us through his renowned pizza recipe, and even let us add our favorite toppings! We’re also having so much fun during PIZZA Week by creating a restaurant and doing various pizza activities too! Yummy, yummy, yummy, we’ve got pizza in our tummy!

5-4-3-2-1-Blast off, another Rocket Ship Run! Earth Day and exploring Earth's Wonders in Outer Space was our theme this week. Our kiddos learned through hands-on sensory play, interactive songs, and simple imaginative role-play focusing on the sun, moon, stars, and planets. We created collage art and explored a recycling sensory bin. We also acted as astronauts preparing for space travel. We kept activities engaging, and centered on visual exploration—we had an OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD time!

Happy Week of the Young Child!

We LOVE Bugs...and we're igniting curiosity and creativity as we explore insect-themed counting games and craft patterns with bugs! We're building vocabulary and early numeracy skills by reading engaging books. Our fine motor skills are getting a fantastic workout as we create bugs out of Play-Doh, sort insects with tweezers, and discover the wonders of worms in our sensory bin—THANK YOU, Ms. Debbie for kindly donating 2 dozen worms! As we dig, hold, and move these tiny creatures, we're learning about respecting small, fragile, or unfamiliar living things and cultivating compassion for the environment. What a joy to experience such squiggly, wiggly fun!

We had an Egg-citing time during our Easter egg hunt! We decorated our bags and had quite an adventure as we scrambled around to find the hidden eggs…Hippity, Hoppity, Easter’s on its way!

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with delightful activities like crafting leprechaun traps, painting shamrocks, and dancing the Irish jig. We created breathtaking rainbows using watercolors, tempera paint, and Froot Loops, and sparked our imagination with Lucky Charms marshmallows. “Wherever you go and whatever you do, may the luck of the Irish be there with you!”

Loving Start celebrated Holi, the Hindu Festival of Colors, emphasizing joy, spring, and friendship. Through hands-on activities like paint splattering and sensory color mixing, we celebrated the victory of good over evil and welcomed spring!
