Home Movies: an Artist Talk on Community Filmmaking feat.

Home is where the heart is. Filmmakers often draw heavy inspiration from the communities or homes that have raised them. The practice of filmmaking can happen anywhere, but recently there has been a shift and a focus outside of the typical Hollywood hubs. The cinematic spotlight is turning its light onto the Midwest, with major film and TV productions setting up shop in Milwaukee, WI. Home Movies is an artist talk/workshop that speaks directly to how to create effective, resourceful, and intimate short and feature films, all from the comfort of your home.
