Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸
Recently, our Brookfield classrooms came together to create an all-center handprint flag, and our K4 friends made flag windsocks to work on cutting, gluing, and following directions.
Along the way, we talked about America, the states, Betsy Ross, and what each part of the flag represents. There's something special about learning what our flag stands for through hands that helped make one. ❤️

Who says brooms are just for sweeping? 🧹🎨
Our kids flipped the script on end-of-year cleaning and turned it into a full-on art experience, painting with brooms on giant canvases, splashing color everywhere, and making something beautiful in the process.
This is what we love about early childhood. There's always a creative way to learn, grow, and have a little fun along the way. The mess? Totally worth it. 😄

When we gave our 4K students free choice time, here's what they picked: practicing cutting, making a chrysalis, slicing in the kitchen, building a marble maze, color matching, nesting cups, and constructing block staircases.
No prompts. No directions. Just curious kids doing exactly what curious kids do. 🤗
Free choice isn't just fun, it's how children develop independence, problem-solving skills, and confidence in their own ideas. And watching them dive in? That's why we do this. ❤️
