May is awareness month.

stress is very real for women.

According to a recent article in MarketWatch

-Only 10% of women say they have their stresses about in order.

-Another 14% about money every single day and the rest several times during the week or month, a recent survey found.

-Even women, defined as those who have a household income of more than $200,000, worry about money, according to the research from HerMoney and the Alliance for Lifetime Income.

But, it doesn’t have to be so stressful. can support us knowing what we have coming in, going out, and create a plan for our future.

The saying, "knowledge is power" is the remedy. It is about financial education.

The knowledge has to start with knowing your relationship to money.

Start by answering these prompts:

We are wrapping up Q1. In those first 3 months of our year of we talked about Spending Less and Living More. The key tenets of Q1 were:

Financial Fitness comes from having a plan. In our plan, we mitigate fears, address our mindset, and set realistic goals. Then, we achieve them.

Saving needs to be done intentionally. When we know why we save, we create a habit that supports our goals.

Saving is intended to be saved. When we have unexpected costs, and we pull from savings to cover those costs - congratulate yourself on having wise habits. Then, get to work building your savings back up!

In Q2 we are going to talk about strategies to .

I am a proponent of living life to its fullest. Saving, when in balance with your passions and goals, can help you get there. The sense of accomplishment, the feeling of security, and the financial prowess builds our confidence and helps us move through life more easily.
