This week, we gathered for our annual Impact Luncheon to celebrate the incredible community partners who help bring learning to life for scholars across all MAS academies.

From mentorship and enrichment programs to health services, leadership development, career exploration, and beyond, partnerships like ours create opportunities that help scholars discover new passions, build confidence, and prepare for bright futures!

The afternoon featured inspiring scholar stories, outstanding performances from the Nova 24th Street Steppers, Choir, and African Drumming, and the opportunity to recognize several stand-out partners.

This weekend’s MAS All-Alumni Reunion Block Party brought together graduates from the Class of 2008 all the way to the Class of 2025, alongside some of the iconic teachers and staff who helped shape the journey along the way.

There were hugs, laughter, life updates, memories shared, old friendships reunited, smooth beats and AMAZING food from our one and only Mr. Keys 🍽️ Alumni toured parts of the school added during our last two expansions, took photos together, shared stories on camera, and reminded us what makes MAS so special: the people.

The energy all day was joyful, nostalgic, and full of pride.

We have Panthers, Golden Eagles, Stormers, Warhawks… linemen, mechanics, carpenters, future nurses, educators, entrepreneurs, and so much more. But the best thing we have? The Class of 2026 Novas 💙

Decision Day is the BEST day at MAS because dreams solidify into reality. Families celebrate years of sacrifice and support, staff reflect on the impact of every lesson, conversation, and challenge overcome, and underclassmen get to see what’s possible for themselves.

Every acceptance, commitment, certification pathway, enlistment, and career decision represents a scholar who dared to dream BIG and put in the work to make it happen.

At MAS, our scholars don’t just graduate with plans. They graduate with purpose, opportunity, and the preparation to compete successfully at the post-secondary level.
