We had the best time learning with Erin Beser from Adoughma, a program of A Jewish Learning Venture in Philadelphia, during Coalition for Jewish Learning’s Back to School Professional Development session!

Erin shared practical ways to include all learners in our classrooms and reminded us of the importance of being attentive and responsive to different sensory needs. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn together and start the new school year with fresh ideas and strategies!

We're excited to share that Rabbi Philip Nadel, former Co-Director and Jewish Studies Principal of the Milwaukee Jewish Day School, will serve as the tour guide for the Milwaukee Jewish Federation's Taglit-Birthright Volunteer Trip.

A beloved educator and community leader, Rabbi Nadel brings deep knowledge of Israel, Jewish learning, and peoplehood, along with a passion for creating meaningful and engaging experiences. Participants will benefit from his insight, perspective, and ability to bring Israel's history, culture, and contemporary realities to life.

We are thrilled to have Rabbi Nadel join us and look forward to the learning, connection, and inspiration he will bring to this important volunteer journey.

Milwaukee Jewish Federation's Israel Center is proud to partner with Taglit-Birthright Israel to offer a meaningful volunteer journey for adults ages 40-70.

Volunteer alongside Israelis, support communities rebuilding after October 7, spend Shabbat in Jerusalem, celebrate Hanukkah in Israel, and experience the country in a deeply personal way.
