Kinnickinnic River Neighbors IN Action (Pulaski Park)
we meet every first Tuesday of the month 6pm. It is home to numerous hard working families.
The Kinnickinnic River is one of three main rivers that flow through a very dense, diverse and vibrant SouthSide commUNITY. This river has gone thru a transformation as part of a flood management project, that has removed 2.5 miles of concrete lining creating a natural river bed. Take a look around your home to check that downspouts and extensions are connected so rainwater flows away from your home. Check your gutters for debris or clogs, and ensure your street storm drains aren’t blocked with leaves or other debris. To ensure rainwater can drain into the storm drain and not flood your street.
