Smith Studios MKE is seeking a positive contributor to aid in the creation of music engraving files (using Dorico & Finale) and media for a new music education website launching this fall. This paid internship will offer an opportunity to collaborate with some of the best music educators in the country while creating a website that will help many music students for years to come.

SASI Tour Part 2

Often people worry about our future... Based on my final leg of working with high school students across the country, I can tell you we are going to be absolutely fine... more than fine. We are in great hands.

So many FANTASTIC students! These kids are intelligent, empathetic, caring, kind, motivated, hard-working, and the list does not end there. Loved getting to know them and working with their amazing teachers.

Such a terrific part of my job and so glad to continue to be a part of the SASI organization.

I love my job. SASI Summer Part 1

Past 3 weeks, I have traveled 8,556 miles to work with 168 student leaders and 18 teachers from 19 different schools in 7 different cities/towns in 5 states.

While each school is unique, a few constants were clear: excited students willing to learn to help their programs and dedicated fantastic teachers working to help all their students.

So grateful for the opportunity to teach and meet so many incredible humans. What a trip!

This was a fun project to work on. As the CBDNA National Conference starts this week at the TCU School of Music in Fort Worth, excited for all the directors, conductors, students, and musicians in attendance.
