Welcome to Melissa Adams!
Melissa Adams is a prodigal daughter of Wisconsin, having spent the past couple decades in Chicago and DC. She began her career as a public school educator in Shiocton, Wisconsin. Her next step brought her to the suburbs of Chicago to continue her teaching career… at which point she traversed the extremely common career path of “work on a Presidential campaign” followed by “work at The White House for a few years.” It was her work on the Obama campaign, and later as a member the Obama administration, where Melissa’s penchant for Human Resources was unlocked. She has spent the past 17 years doing HR work, and currently serves as Assistant Vice President of HR Client Services for a business support organization. She plays more musical instruments than the average bear, and her proudest moments as a musician were with a trombone in her hand rocking out for ten years with Chicago’s favorite punk rock marching band, Mucca Pazza!
