157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade (MEB)

Last month, 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade held a change of responsibility ceremony in which Command Sgt. Maj. Terri Vollrath relinquished responsibility of the brigade to Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Johnson in Milwaukee, Wis. Vollrath served as the Iron Brigade’s senior non-commissioned officer for nearly two years, and recently took responsibility of the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 64th Troop Command.

Today, the Wisconsin Army National Guard salutes the incredible mothers in our ranks, and the mothers who stand strong behind our Soldiers. Thank you for your unwavering sacrifice, love, and leadership both at home and in service to our state and nation. Happy Mother’s Day! 💐

This past weekend, the 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade welcomed a new commander during a ceremony at its headquarters in Milwaukee. The “Iron Brigade” held a formal change of command ceremony between outgoing commander Brig. Gen. Paul Gapinski and incoming commander Col. Bryan Huebsch.

This past Sunday, more than 400 Wisconsin Army National Guardsmen received a formal send-off before departing for a year-long mobilization to the Middle East.

Soldiers assigned to the 1st Battalion, 121st Field Artillery Regiment and 108th Forward Support Company will provide High Mobility Artillery Rocket System capabilities within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility while working alongside their strategic partners in the region.
