Christmas is coming up, and if you’re looking for the perfect gift for a child under four, I highly recommend open-ended toys. These toys don’t come already put together or have only one purpose they give children the freedom to build, explore, and create. I love them because as your child grows, you can see how much their imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills have developed through the different things they create.

🤯Every day I ask my kids a different Question of the Day. It may seem like something small and it only takes a few minutes, but it helps them grow in so many areas.

I’m paying attention to whether they understand the question, how they answer it, if they can clearly express their thoughts and whether they can go back and forth in a conversation. They’re building listening skills, comprehension, vocabulary, confidence, and communication skills all from one simple question!
