🇺🇸 Celebrating 250 Years of American Independence 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate 250 years since the birth of a nation founded on the ideals of liberty, self-government, and the pursuit of a better future. From the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 to becoming one of the world's most influential democracies, the story of the United States is one of resilience, determination, and constant progress.

America's history has been shaped by people from every corner of the globe. Generations of immigrants, alongside the enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples and those whose labor, sacrifice, and perseverance helped build the nation, have woven together countless cultures, traditions, and dreams into one American story.

Our diversity is our strength. Different languages, different customs, different backgrounds—but united by shared values of freedom, opportunity, hard work, and hope.

As we honor the past, we also look toward the future with pride and purpose. May the next 250 years continue to be defined by innovation, unity, and the belief that, together, we can build an even stronger nation for generations to come.

Happy 250th Anniversary, America! 🇺🇸

One Nation. Many Cultures. One Shared Future. 🕊️

✨ We were honored to welcome the Fe, Vida y Esperanza Foundation to Ballet Folklórico Xanharati. 🕊️ This incredible organization supports individuals currently battling cancer as well as cancer survivors, providing hope, encouragement, and community throughout their journeys.

During their visit, we shared a wonderful workshop where participants had the opportunity to explore dance as a meaningful form of expression, connection, and personal empowerment. Through movement, music, and culture, we created a space filled with joy, learning, and inspiration.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share the transformative power of dance and to celebrate the strength and resilience of everyone who participated.

💙 Thank you to the Fe, Vida y Esperanza Foundation for visiting us and for the important work you do every day. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future!

To my Xanharati Family 🕊️

Some experiences leave such a profound mark on our hearts that no amount of words can truly capture them. Our journey to Round Lake was one of those experiences. I return with a heart full of gratitude, pride, and emotion for everything we shared together.

First, I want to express my deepest thanks to the parents who have placed their trust in me to guide their children through this beautiful world of dance. Thank you for believing in our vision, for your unwavering support, and for showing that beyond the stage, we are a community that genuinely cares for one another.

To my viajeros, my dancers, thank you for embracing every one of my folkloric adventures. Thank you for trusting the process, for persevering, and for staying aboard this ship even when the journey becomes challenging. Every rehearsal, every sacrifice, every smile, and every effort shines through on stage. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Day after day, you prove that you are capable of achieving great things and that together we have built something far more valuable than a dance group—we have built a true family.

Every performance we present is the result of countless hours of hard work, discipline, passion, and dedication. Seeing the heart you pour into every step, every performance, and every shared dream fills me with admiration and hope. Thank you for making it all possible.

I would also like to thank de la Rosa Family, teacher Francisco, teacher Adriana and their mother, who became part of our family and helped enrich the Ballet Folklórico Xanharati repertoire by bringing the beautiful polkas of Tamaulipas into our program. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and contributing to our artistic growth.

And, of course, I want to thank my mother and my sister, who have always supported me unconditionally throughout this journey. No matter where in the world they may be, they have always been present with their love, encouragement, and strength.

Today, I celebrate everything we have accomplished together, but above all, I celebrate the family we have built under the roof of Ballet Folklórico Xanharati. May we continue sharing dreams, stages, and unforgettable moments that will remain in our hearts forever.

With love and gratitude,

Paulo García

Today we celebrate Children’s Day — a reminder of the pure joy, curiosity, and wonder we all once carried so naturally ✨

But this day isn’t only about kids. It’s also about reconnecting with the child within us — the part that dreamed freely, laughed loudly, and found magic in the smallest moments.

Take a moment today to nurture that part of yourself:
🌿 Do something that makes you genuinely happy
🎨 Be creative without worrying about perfection
😄 Laugh without holding back
💭 Dream without limits

Happy Children’s Day! 🫶🏽🕊️

Dance is more than movement — it’s the quiet language of the soul. It speaks when words fall short, when emotions are too heavy, too complex, or too beautiful to explain. Every step, every turn, every pause carries a story… of joy, of pain, of love, of becoming.

So today, let yourself move. Not perfectly, not professionally — just truthfully. Because sometimes, the most powerful conversations are the ones we never say out loud.

Today we had the honor of participating in a powerful High School Student & Parent Educational Forum organized by the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation / Mexican Fiesta.

We were proud to connect with families, students, and community leaders who are shaping the future through education and culture.

To all the students: your dreams are valid, your voice matters, and your future is bright. 🌟

To the parents and community: thank you for continuing to uplift and guide the next generation.

Together, we celebrate culture. Together, we build futures. 💫 🕊️

International Women’s Day is not only a celebration — it is a day to remember 🕊

A day to honor the courage, strength, and resilience of the women who fought for the rights and opportunities we continue to build today. Their voices opened doors, their struggles shaped history, and their legacy inspires the generations to come.

Today we remember. We honor. And we continue the journey 💜 🕊

A New Journey Begins ✨ 🕊

On February 26, Ballet Folklórico Xanharati proudly received the official acceptance letter to become a member of CIOFF® USA. This moment marks an important milestone in our story and the beginning of an exciting new journey.

Becoming part of this international network is not only an honor, but also a deep commitment. A commitment to continue preserving, sharing, and celebrating the richness of our cultural traditions through dance, music, and community.

From every rehearsal to every stage, we carry the stories, colors, and spirit of our heritage with pride. Today we take another step forward, representing our culture with even greater responsibility and passion.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey. The road ahead is full of possibilities, and we are excited to continue traveling it together. 🕊
