Sometimes the person who says “I’m good” may be carrying more than they’re letting you see.
Veterans can carry loneliness, isolation, trauma, anger, grief, or other challenges long after their service ends. That’s why checking in matters.

Make the call.
Ask how they’re really doing.
Remind them they don’t have to face everything alone.
And if you’re the one struggling, reaching out for help isn’t weakness. It can be one of the strongest things you can do.
