Bittersweet Friday service 4/7/23

Before Easter our SLS families and neighbors came together for an Easter Egg hunt and got a chance to hear Easter message. HE IS RISEN!!
Thank you to everyone who came out!

Last week our scholars ROCKED the MAP test! To get excited and ready to go for testing we had a spirit week the week prior. Way to go scholars for putting in the hard work!

No school today! Stay safe out there!

Our students celebrated all their hard work during the first quarter with a Spirit week that included days such as: decades day, tie dye/neon day, sports day, mismatch day and class color day. Congratulations to all our scholars!

We keep in our prayers those affected by the tragic event yesterday in Waukesha and offered up this prayer in chapel today:

"Heavenly Father,

We pray fervently for those affected by the tragic events in Waukesha yesterday, especially those whose lives were irrevocably changed. Help them to see your plan for them in this trying moment. May God grant all of us calmness, patience, understanding, love, and mercy. Amen."

Our student service guidance counselors and Campus Minister will be available throughout the day for anyone who may wish to talk to someone.
