MGC will be open tomorrow (Thursday, 9/3) and we look forward to welcoming our students back!

Due to the continued heat, students and staff may wear school-appropriate free dress tomorrow to help stay as cool and comfortable throughout the school day. No Crocs or sandals. Remember to bring a water bottle! See you tomorrow!

Due to the excessive heat in the forecast, Mother of Good Counsel School will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

School: All classes are canceled, and the school building will be closed to students.
Before & After School Care: All before-and after-school programming is canceled.
Athletics: All practices, games, and other athletic activities are canceled.

Today, we are excited to introduce you to our Primary Team!

First and second grade are years full of incredible growth as students build confidence, discover new abilities and see themselves as capable learners. These teachers create classrooms filled with encouragement, exploration, and joy as students strengthen their skills and develop a love for learning. Wonderful news to share today:

Yesterday, a parent stopped in the school office and asked us to say "Thank You" to the staff for giving his children the foundation they needed and deserved. He went on to say his children are graduating from high school and college and doing so very well and he knows that it all started here. "I give all thanks and glory to God for MGC and all the teachers here. We are blessed!"

So wonderful to hear this and so nice of him to say...proud to be MGC!
