Morse Chess Club continues to have a successful season! At Morse, students can learn the game in the after school club or, on select intervention hours at school. Players can enjoy social matches or join the competitive team Students can seek out information and consent forms from Coach Po***ck
Recent Chess Highlights:
1st Place in Open Championship at Hmong New Year Tournament
1st Place in Open Championship at Future Leaders Tournament
1st Place in Open Championship at Salam Tournament
1st Place in k12 Championship at Grace Lutheran Tournament.
The middle division team has also been placing 1st or 2nd, earning nice awards for Morse
Many Morse players have won individual trophies for high point performances at these tournaments.

The Morse Chess Team competed in The Milwaukee Scholastic Chess Championships held at MSOE on National Chess Day (10/11). 8th grader, Lazario Boatman, won the k8 Dvision Championship!! Amir Davis placed 2nd and Daisy Lor placed 5th. Outstanding Results! Morse/MPS Proud!

Congratulations to the Morse Chess Club, which finished first in the 18th annual All-Girls Wisconsin WSCF Chess Tournament in the top open division on Saturday, Feb. 15!

The first ever Morse Chess Club Tournament was a huge success!!! Morse took second place in the Open and u600 Divisions and three players earned individual trophies.
Thank you to Morse Chess Club families and staff volunteers that stepped up to create an amazing event!
