We are in a critical time in our city as violence continues to leave an indelible mark on individuals, families, and communities. We continue to see an astronomical rise in homicides, non-fatal shootings, reckless driving, suicides, and overdoses that have merely been exacerbated by the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time of crisis, it is imperative that we are intentional in coordinating our efforts to build capacity around addressing these concerns. Please join the Milwaukee Office of Violence Prevention, 414 LIFE MKE, Milwaukee County and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee in a community call to action. The focus of this meeting is to galvanize the community with the intent of creating an ecosystem of resources and services that support prevention, intervention, and healing efforts. We hope that you all are able to join us in developing intentional, innovative strategies that will impact communities and return Milwaukee to being a safe and resilient city.
