Central High School Secretary Caynen Mathews and Chaplain Caleb Mathews participated in the opening ceremonies alongside members of the Jay and Milton FFA chapters at the annual Santa Rosa County Farm Bureau Banquet!

We always enjoy participating with our fellow FFA chapters and showing our appreciation for an organization that does so much to support our programs! 💙💛

This week our middle and high school representatives participated in the Chapter presidents conference in Orlando! They will take part in leadership development sessions and network with other chapters throughout our state!

A special shout out to Caynen and Sydney for stepping in for our high school president and vice president who had a scheduling conflict with a volleyball game!

Congrats to our 26-27 middle school officer team!

For the first time we had enough kids interested in becoming middle school officers that we had to do middle school officer interviews! All the students who interviewed knocked it out of the park!

It sure made our judges jobs hard! A special thank you to Mitch Lambeth, Megan Holland, and Sharron Mathews for volunteering their time to come help us interview!

State convention 2026! What a week! Our students spent the last 5 days in Orlando going to leadership classes and general sessions with over 5000 other FFA members from across the state. We got to watch two of our own Mason Thomas and Emma Posey accept their State Degrees in Thursday mornings general session. And ended watching our Middle school Land evaluation team get recognised for their Third place finish in the land evaluation competition. Along with our Middle school President Sydney Vinson receiving her award for being the individual high scorer for the entire state in the land evaluation competition! Now for some summer rest, In a blink of an eye we will be starting it all over again!

A special thanks goes out to our chaperones for this trip and all of the people that supported us this year through fundraising and donations to make all we do possible!
