We are pleased to announce that St. Mary of the Hills School is a proud 2026 grant recipient of the Catholic Health Foundation!

This grant will fund Brains & Screens, a program designed to help families break free from toxic screen habits, here at SMH. We are so grateful to the Catholic Health Foundation of Greater Boston for their support in ensuring our students are healthy in both mind and body.

At St. Mary of the Hills School, we’re proud of our strong SMH community made up of current and former students, families, and supporters. Recently we caught up with Jyl Dedier, parent of SMH alumni Gabrielle ‘16 and Carter ‘22! Jyl works as an oncology nurse and, with her love for writing and connecting with people, recently released a new children’s book, Maria Manners and the Please Note. Summer on the Hill Camp is in full swing! ☀️ This week’s camp theme was Wilderness Explorers. The children had a blast designing their own explorer and learning about recycling. The campers got to bring in their special stuffies to camp for a picnic, and turned our kitchen area into a veterinarian clinic. We made homemade bird feeders by stringing Cheerios on pipe cleaners and hung them outside. We went on a rainbow nature walk and used color panels to match the colors we saw, hiked over to the big field to do some tree rubbing, and ended the week with a special visit from Rainforest Reptiles and a slushie party!!!
