PennDOT and safety partners, including State Farm agents and Safe Kids PA Susquehanna Valley Partners, will host a child safety seat inspection next week.

The event, set for Sept. 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Geisinger Clinic Bloomsburg, 2407 Reichart Road, is being held in observance of Child Passenger Safety Week, a campaign that aims to help parents and caregivers make sure that their children ride in the right seat for their age and size.

PennDOT and partners from SafeKids PA and State Farm will host a child safety seat inspection event, where they will also collect old and damaged seats.
