We overlooked the fact that the year Pat Helms was our Teacher Assistant of the Year she was ALSO the School-Related Employee of the Year for the entire county!! She was truly remarkable person!

Yearbook Staff took a break from making an amazing yearbook this year to bond with staff members. We also had some former members come join us. Fun morning making memories!

At today's Faculty meeting, Media Center Specialist Donna Jordan was named as the 2014-2015 Sims Middle School Teacher of the Year. We are so very proud of the work she has done in the Media Center. As we continue to remember the two staff members who have passed away recently, it seemed like a good time to recognize their previous accolades as well.

Dozens of co-workers, family, and former students gathered at the Sims Middle School flagpole to honor Mr. Blackman with inspiring stories and tales of funnier moments. He truly impacted hundreds of people.

Thank you Mr. Blackman and Mrs. Helms for all that you have done for our students.
