Since my own childhood, I have believed in the importance of having an outlet for my creative side. Mel O' Drama was born out of this idea giving children in my area the opportunity to see their imaginations come to life on stage. We work on voice projection, articulation, and stage presence through fun theatre games in class. We always incorporate music and movement in our session to give kids another form of expression to communicate their creativity. It's fun and most importantly, every child leaves a session of Mel O' Drama feeling more confident and believing that the possibilities are endless!

📣 WE HAVE BIG NEWS 📣

We recently partnered with The Woodward School in Quincy to become their in-house theater program for students! 🎭

We’re so excited and honored to step into this role. It’s evident that the students have enjoyed a wonderful theater experience with the organization that worked previously with Woodward for many years, and we’re grateful for the strong foundation they’ve created for us to build upon & we only wish them well.

We’ve already hit the ground running and we’re having such a great time getting to know the students, exploring their creativity, and we have an adaptation of The Wizard of Oz in rehearsal mode for a mid December opening! STAY TUNED!!

We’re so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to see what we create together! 🎭
