What a fun experience decorating cookies with our 🍀4-H🍀foreign exchange students and their host families. Would so decorate 175 cookies again with these families. ❤️

Just days after Tropical Storm Bertha came ashore, Santa Rosa County 4-H members and volunteers joined by Thomas Derbes, UF/IFAS Sea Grant Agent, spent the day cleaning a four-mile stretch of beach. Thanks in part to support from the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation Conservation Grant, youth were able to participate in this hands-on coastal conservation experience.
Together, they removed 158 pounds of marine debris, including a discarded fishing pole and a tangled mass of monofilament fishing line with four fishing lures that could have harmed marine wildlife.

Santa Rosa County 4-H cleaned up Coldwater Creek today! Thank you to Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center for their support of our program cleaning the creek each year! We had a blast and removed a lot of dangerous trash from the creek!
