W. H. Rhodes Elementary School

W. H. Rhodes was well represented this morning at the school board meeting. We had two recipients of the Outstanding Volunteers of the Year award. Moshe Watson received 1st place in the Youth Volunteer of the Year award for Santa Rosa County. Ms. Phyllis Rosin received 2nd place in the Senior Adult Volunteer of the Year award. Thank you both for your time and service!!!

🐾Hazelle was so positive about reading a challenging library book to me. Even after 35 minutes and 4 chapters, she finished her book with a smile and was proud of her accomplishment. I am proud of her too!~Mrs. Hoodless
🐾Prince worked very hard on his reading FAST practice test! Way to go!~Mrs. Fender
🐾Doc always has a smile on his face! He worked so hard on his FAST PM3 and jumped many buckets! Way to go Doc!~Ms. Vasquez

Today was a fun day! Our students worked very hard to demonstrate academic progress (or “jump a bucket”) on PM3. By jumping buckets they earned opportunities to toss bean bags to dump buckets of water on Mrs. Reaves. These super stars got her 2/2 times! 🖤💛🖤

Congratulations to Hendrix, Eleanor, McKinleigh, and Zephyr for reading and passing AR quizzes on all 15 SSYRA books! Way to go!
