Nkem Nwosu, Dr. Hardeep Singh’s Ph.D. student, was awarded the Agricultural Women's Club Scholarship for $1,500.00 for the 2026-2027 academic year by the UF College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The scholarship will be presented at the CALS Scholarship Reception on Thursday, Sept. 10.

🚁 Putting autonomous technology to the test at WFREC!
Dr. Humberto Ramos and his team, Jared Paquet and Harshang Chhaya, are out here at the West Florida Research and Education Center conducting algorithm testing with drones.
Dr. Ramos and his team specialize in autonomous vehicles, robotics, guidance, navigation and control systems, so it’s pretty fascinating to see this technology being put through its paces right here in the field! 🚁🌱
