The Mighty Black & Gold Band is one of the premiere organizations on the campus of Milton High School The MHS Band has been around since 1943. Worman, Mr.
The band has had other names since becoming the Mighty Black & Gold Band in 1994-95. These names include the Southern Regiment and the Mighty Panther Band. Directors over the years have been Capt Joe Astoria, Mr. John Chaulker, and Mr. Charles "Bud" Bell. Current Director of Bands is Mr. Gray Weaver (beginning his 19th year & a 1987 alumni) and Mr. Michael Schultz (beginning his 4th year). Percuss
