Congratulations to the Santa Rosa Education Foundation and the Little Red Schoolhouse program for being named as an IMPACT 100 Grant Finalist! Membership will now have an opportunity to vote on which programs will be grant recipients. Receipt of these funds would be transformative for the Little Red Schoolhouse and how they can support teachers and students in Santa Rosa County! Good luck!

Congratulations, Kendall!

Outstanding Senior Spotlight: Kendall 💙🎓

We're proud to recognize Kendall from Take Stock in Children, in partnership with the Santa Rosa Education Foundation, for his passion, his perseverance, and the way he has poured himself into his craft every single day of high school.

A senior at Milton High School, Kendall has been deeply immersed in music since before he set foot in high school. He has participated in marching band, symphonic band, and the Blackwater Bets community jazz band, earning numerous accolades and awards for his talents along the way.

This fall, Kendall heads to the The University of Southern Mississippi, to study Music Education, with a goal of becoming a band director who builds programs where students grow musically and develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a true sense of belonging.

Through Take Stock in Children, Kendall's mentor taught him that success is built through daily effort, consistency, and commitment, and that even small steps forward matter when you stay disciplined through the hard moments.

We can't wait to see all you accomplish next, Kendall ✨
