After you wave goodbye Monday morning, don't head straight home. Come find us in the cafeteria for Coffee & Kleenex with the PTO — a warm cup, a soft tissue if the moment calls for it, and a few minutes with other parents who know exactly how you feel.

The Summit Hill PTO is thrilled to announce the installation of a brand-new custom Sport Court before the start of the school year!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Husky families through last year’s Husky Fund, we’re making a $40,000 investment that will benefit every Summit Hill student for years to come.

In partnership with PlaySport Atlanta, a local Milton family-owned business, we’ve designed a vibrant outdoor court tailored specifically to our school’s needs. The new 100’ × 80’ Sport Court features premium shock-absorbing tiles that create a safer, more enjoyable play space while staying up to 50% cooler than traditional blacktop.

✨ The new court will include:
🏀 Basketball
🟦 Four Square
🦘 Hopscotch
🥎 Kickball
🐾 Custom Summit Hill branding and so much more!

This project is a perfect example of what the Husky Fund makes possible creating meaningful improvements that enhance the daily experience of every Summit Hill student.

Thanks to the generosity of our Summit Hill families, Business Partners, volunteers, and community, the PTO invested more than $214,000 right here at Summit Hill benefiting every one of our 653 students and 92 staff members.

Your Husky Fund donations helped to provide:
- Additional field trips for every grade + charter buses
- Teacher classroom start-up funds and fully funded wish lists
- A fully funded Discovery Lab
- Indoor recess kits for every classroom
- A Summit Hill spirit T-shirt for every student
- FREE family and student events
- Monthly staff appreciation meals + gifts
- School programs, grounds beautification projects, curriculum additives and so much more!
- Plus, a brand-new sport court to cover our existing outdoor basketball area for recess and PE use (more on this to follow)! This major project will be installed before the first week of school!

The best part? Every dollar raised stays at Summit Hill, creating experiences and opportunities our students enjoy every single day.
