Georgia Theta Pi - a Marietta chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority

Hello August and "Beginning Day" for the new Beta Sigma Phi sorority year....

Georgia is the ONLY state outside of California that is using BANDS for sorority communication. Yay for us!!! So we are networking via BANDS while we build our statewide network for ZOOM in 3 regions: North Georgia Region (mountains and piedmont ), Coastal Region (golden isles, coastline and near coastline counties) and Plains Region (south and southwest Georgia).

Join Theta Pi for Mexican food and friendship ! Twenty-percent of each person’s bill will be donated by the restaurant to Loving Arms Cancer Outreach, which happens to be one of our service projects! Other Beta Sigma Phi chapters are welcome to join us!

GA Theta Pi sisters enjoyed a Patriotic “Indoor Picnic” at the chapter’s “Planning Day” meeting today at Nancy Garrett’s home in Marietta. The chapter welcomed our tenth member, transferee Patricia Mitchum from Indianapolis, Indiana. She will be officially welcomed in August at the chapter’s “Beginning Day” at the home of chapter president Gwen Parker.

Theta Pi’s June meeting was at Hickory Flat Kitchen in Canton, GA. Left to right are Debbie Herring (VP), Sondra Bisig, Sue Alexander (Treasurer), Judy Conway, Pat Mitchum (guest), and Gwen Parker (President). Shirley Mensching, Recording Secretary, was present, but left prior to the photo. Absent were Nancy Garrett (vacationing), Susan Pollinger, and Norma Bean. Nancy Garrett will host the July meeting, which is Planning Day.
