✨ Welcome! ✨

I encourage clients to arrive 10-15 minutes early so they can sit in our relaxing lobby to decompress. Getting in a more calm and open state of mind prior to your massage truly helps you to get the most out of your massage. Taking this time for yourself helps with soothing racing thoughts, lowering your heart rate and blood pressure, and letting go of tension you’re unconsciously holding in your body well BEFORE you get on the massage table.

Spring is here! 🌸 As the weather warms up, we humans join the rest of nature and get more active outside. We take our creaky winter bodies and dive into exercise, yard work, house projects, golf, fishing, boating, and other recreational sports. All this activity and movement is great, but we also need to be mindful that we’re stretching, strengthening, and doing muscle-therapies at home or by seeing a Licensed Massage Therapist to help prevent injury and recover. For anyone looking to book with me, follow the link in my bio to see upcoming availability and to book directly online. Always reach out with any questions you may have. Thank you!

Will massage alone fix me? Short answer: no. Massage alone is not a “fix”. Massage helps to facilitate healthier soft tissues (muscle, tendon, fascia), improve mobility, and increase circulation of blood and lymph as PART of a wellness routine. The extent the massage can help depends entirely on the client’s involvement in their wellness. Everyone has different physical abilities, schedules, financial situations, and support systems, so wellness routines will be as unique as the individual that practices them. The key is that the client takes a CONSISTENT, active, and intentional roll in their wellness. This means making a habit of a daily movement, daily stretching, and regular bodywork like massage. When we consistently take care of our bodies to the best of our abilities, we really do feel better and our bodies are better able to receive the benefits of a massage. But most importantly is that you LOVE YOURSELF and FEEL GOOD with yourself in the body you’re in.
